Wings and Dressing

Method

Preparation and Cooking

1

Prepare the Wings

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. In a large bowl, toss the wings with salt and black pepper to taste.

2

Bake the Wings

Place the wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, turning halfway through, until the wings are crispy and golden.

3

Make the Sauce

In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Once melted, stir in the hot sauce until combined. Remove from heat.

4

Coat the Wings

Once the wings are done baking, transfer them to a large bowl and pour the hot sauce mixture over them. Toss to coat evenly.

5

Prepare the Bleu Cheese Dressing

In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, buttermilk, blue cheese crumbles, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until smooth.

6

Prepare the Vegetables

Wash and cut the celery into sticks and slice the carrots into sticks or rounds.

7

Serve

Serve the wings hot or mild with celery sticks, carrot sticks, and homemade bleu cheese dressing on the side.
