Chicken Tenders

Method

Preparation

1

Prepare the Chicken Tenders

1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). 2. Cut the chicken breasts into strips. 3. Set up a breading station with three bowls: one for flour mixed with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika; one for beaten eggs; and one for breadcrumbs. 4. Dredge each chicken strip first in flour, then dip in the egg, and finally coat with breadcrumbs. 5. Place the breaded chicken on a baking sheet.

2

Cook the Chicken Tenders

6. In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. 7. Fry the chicken tenders in batches until golden brown and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per side. 8. Transfer cooked tenders to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

3

Prepare the Fries

9. While the chicken is cooking, wash and cut the potatoes into fries. 10. In a large pot, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. 11. Fry the potato strips until golden and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. 12. Remove fries and drain on paper towels, then season with salt.

4

Serve

13. Serve the chicken tenders hot with BBQ sauce and honey mustard on the side. 14. Plate the fries alongside the chicken tenders.
