Method
Preparation
- 1
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). This high temperature will help the vegetables roast nicely.
- 2
Prepare the Vegetables
Wash and peel the carrots, then slice them into bite-sized pieces. Cut the cauliflower into florets and trim the ends of the green beans.
Roasting
- 3
Toss with Seasoning
In a large bowl, combine the carrots, cauliflower, and green beans. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and dried thyme. Toss thoroughly to ensure all vegetables are evenly coated.
- 4
Arrange on Baking Sheet
Spread the seasoned vegetables out in a single layer on a baking sheet. Make sure they are not overcrowded to allow for even roasting.
- 5
Roast the Vegetables
Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and roast for 25-30 minutes. Stir the vegetables halfway through to ensure even cooking. They should be tender and slightly caramelized when done.
Serving
- 6
Serve Warm
Once the vegetables are roasted, remove them from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. Serve warm as a side dish or over a bed of greens for a light meal.
