Preparation of Croutons

Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Prepare the Bread
In a large bowl, combine the cubed bread, olive oil, garlic powder, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Toss until the bread is evenly coated.

Bake the Croutons
Spread the coated bread cubes in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy, stirring halfway through for even browning.

Cool the Croutons
Once baked, remove from the oven and let the croutons cool while you prepare the salad.

Combine Salad Ingredients
In a large salad bowl, add the chopped romaine lettuce, halved cherry tomatoes, and half of the grated Parmesan cheese.

Add Dressing
Pour the Caesar dressing over the salad ingredients and toss gently to combine, ensuring all ingredients are well coated.

Add Croutons
Add the cooled croutons to the salad and gently toss to incorporate.

Garnish with the remaining grated Parmesan cheese and serve immediately.
