Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

Prepare the Cauliflower
Remove the leaves and stem from the cauliflower and cut it into florets.

Season the Cauliflower
In a large bowl, toss the cauliflower florets with olive oil, salt, and black pepper until well coated.

Roast the Cauliflower
Spread the cauliflower florets on a baking sheet in a single layer and roast in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until golden brown and tender.

Prepare the Shishito Peppers
While the cauliflower is roasting, toss the shishito peppers with a little olive oil, salt, and pepper.

Roast the Shishito Peppers
Add the shishito peppers to the baking sheet with the cauliflower for the last 10 minutes of roasting.

Garnish and Serve
Once both the cauliflower and shishito peppers are roasted, remove them from the oven, sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds, and serve with salsa taquera on the side.
