Method

Preparation Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Peppers

Wash all the peppers thoroughly. Remove the stems and cut them in half. For extra heat, keep the seeds in the Habanero peppers.

  2. 2

    Sauté the Garlic

In a medium saucepan over medium heat, add a small amount of oil and sauté the minced garlic cloves until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.

  3. 3

    Cook the Peppers

Add the prepared peppers to the saucepan with the garlic. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until the peppers are softened.

  4. 4

    Blend the Mixture

Transfer the cooked pepper and garlic mixture to a blender. Add the vinegar, salt, sugar, and water. Blend until smooth.

  5. 5

    Strain (Optional)

For a smoother hot sauce, strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve to remove any solids.

  6. 6

    Bottle and Store

Pour the hot sauce into sterilized bottles or jars. Seal and store in the refrigerator for up to 3 months.
