Chill the Glass
Begin by chilling a cocktail glass by filling it with ice water. Set it aside to cool.

Stir Well
Stir the mixture gently for about 30 seconds until well chilled.

Prepare the Glass
Empty the ice water from the chilled cocktail glass.

Strain and Serve
Strain the chilled mixture into the prepared cocktail glass.

Garnish
Garnish with a maraschino cherry and a strip of orange peel. Optionally, twist the orange peel over the drink to release its oils before placing it in the glass.
