Method

Preparation of Wings

    Prepare the Wings

    Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat dry with paper towels. Place them in a large bowl.

    Season the Wings

    Add salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder to the wings. Toss well to coat evenly.

    Heat the Oil

    In a deep frying pan, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

    Fry the Wings

    Fry the wings in batches, cooking for about 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Guava Red Pepper Jelly Sauce

    Make the Sauce

    In a small saucepan, combine guava jelly, red pepper flakes, and rice vinegar. Heat over medium heat until melted and mixed well. Remove from heat.

Honey Garlic Sauce

    Make the Sauce

    In a small bowl, whisk together honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, and sesame oil until well combined.

Serving

    Serve the Wings

    Toss the fried wings in the desired sauce (guava red pepper jelly or honey garlic) and serve immediately with celery sticks and blue cheese dressing, if desired.
