Brewing Instructions
- 1
Grind the Coffee Beans
Coarsely grind the Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee beans using a burr grinder to ensure even extraction.
- 2
Boil the Water
Bring the filtered water to a boil in a kettle. Once boiling, let it cool for about 30 seconds to reach the ideal temperature (around 200°F or 93°C).
- 3
Add Coffee to French Press
Add the coarsely ground coffee to the French press. Use a ratio of 2 tablespoons of coffee per 6 ounces of water, which is approximately 4 tablespoons for 12 ounces of coffee.
- 4
Pour Water
Slowly pour the hot water over the coffee grounds in the French press, ensuring all the grounds are saturated.
- 5
Steep
Place the lid on the French press and let the coffee steep for about 4 minutes.
- 6
Press and Serve
After steeping, slowly press down the plunger to separate the grounds from the brewed coffee. Pour the coffee into a cup and enjoy.
