5. Prepare the Vegetables
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add broccoli florets and sliced carrots. Season with salt and black pepper.
6. Sauté the Vegetables
Cook the vegetables for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are tender but still crisp.
