Method
Chicken Preparation
- 1
Sauté the Chicken
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper. Place them in the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken and set aside.
Garlic Sauce Preparation
- 2
Prepare the Garlic Sauce
In the same skillet used for the chicken, reduce the heat to low and add the butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic cloves and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn them.
- 3
Combine Ingredients
Stir in the chicken broth, lemon juice, and chopped parsley. Let the sauce simmer for about 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
Finishing Touch
- 4
Combine Chicken with Sauce
Return the sautéed chicken breasts to the skillet and coat them with the garlic sauce. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- 5
Serve
Serve the chicken hot, drizzled with the garlic sauce, and garnish with additional fresh parsley if desired.
