Shrimp San Francisco Ingredients

Method

Cooking Directions

  1. 1

    Cook the Pasta

In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Sauté Mushrooms and Garlic

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced mushrooms and sauté for about 5 minutes until they are softened. Add minced garlic and sauté for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

  3. 3

    Cook the Shrimp

Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes, or until they turn pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp and mushrooms from the skillet and set aside.

  4. 4

    Make the Cream Sauce

In the same skillet, pour in the white wine and bring to a simmer. Allow it to reduce by half, about 3-4 minutes. Stir in the heavy cream and let simmer for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

  5. 5

    Combine and Serve

Return the shrimp and mushrooms to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve the shrimp and mushroom mixture over the cooked pasta, topped with grated Romano cheese and chopped parsley.
