Chicken Wings
Method
Preparation
Prepare the Wings
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Add the chicken wings and toss to coat evenly.
Bake the Wings
Place the wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Spread them out in a single layer. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are crispy and golden brown.
Prepare the Sauce
While the wings are baking, melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Add the hot sauce and stir until combined and warmed through.
Toss in Sauce
Once the wings are done baking, remove them from the oven and place them in a large bowl. Pour the hot sauce mixture over the wings and toss until they are well coated.
Serve
Serve the chicken wings immediately with fries on the side and your choice of beverage.
