Pancake Directions
- 1
Prepare the Batter
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. In another bowl, beat the eggs and then add the buttermilk and melted butter. Mix well.
- 2
Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and gently fold until just combined. Do not overmix; a few lumps are okay.
- 3
Cook the Pancakes
Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease it with butter. Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface and the edges look set, about 2-3 minutes. Flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
- 4
Serve
Serve the pancakes warm with maple syrup drizzled on top.
