Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Rub the chicken breasts with olive oil, then season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
Place the seasoned chicken breasts in a baking dish. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
Remove the chicken from the oven and layer two slices of ham on top of each chicken breast. Sprinkle the Monterey Jack cheese evenly over the ham.
Return the baking dish to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
