Directions

  1. 1

    Cook the Pasta

In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Sauté the Seafood

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add the shrimp and mussels, cooking until the shrimp turns pink and mussels open, about 4-5 minutes.

  3. 3

    Make the Garlic Cream Sauce

Pour in the white wine, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet. Allow it to simmer for 2-3 minutes. Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

  4. 4

    Combine Pasta and Sauce

Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the seafood and sauce. Toss gently to combine and heat through. Add grated Romano cheese and mix until well combined and creamy.

  5. 5

    Serve

Serve immediately, garnished with chopped fresh parsley and additional Romano cheese if desired.
