Preparation of Salmon

Marinate the Salmon
In a shallow dish, place the salmon fillets. Drizzle with olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Ensure the fillets are evenly coated. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

Preheat the Grill
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (approximately 375°F to 400°F or 190°C to 200°C).

Prepare the Vegetables
While the salmon is grilling, rinse the asparagus and cherry tomatoes. Trim the ends of the asparagus and cut the cherry tomatoes in half. Mince the garlic.

Sauté the Vegetables
In a skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Add asparagus and cook for 4-5 minutes until tender-crisp. Add cherry tomatoes, salt, and black pepper, and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the tomatoes are softened.

Plate and Serve
Once the salmon is cooked and the vegetables are sautéed, remove from heat. Plate the salmon fillets alongside the sautéed vegetables and serve immediately.
