Method

Crust Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).

  2. 2

    Prepare the Crust Mixture

In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted unsalted butter. Mix until the mixture resembles wet sand.

  3. 3

    Form the Crust

Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form an even layer.

  4. 4

    Bake the Crust

Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, then remove and let it cool while preparing the filling.

Filling Preparation

  1. 5

    Mix Cream Cheese

In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.

  2. 6

    Add Sugar and Other Ingredients

Gradually add the granulated sugar and mix until well incorporated. Then add the sour cream, vanilla extract, and flour, and mix until smooth.

  3. 7

    Incorporate Eggs

Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing on low speed after each addition until just combined. Do not overmix.

  4. 8

    Pour Filling into Crust

Pour the cheesecake filling over the cooled crust, spreading it evenly.

  5. 9

    Bake the Cheesecake

Bake in the oven for 50-60 minutes, or until the center is set but slightly jiggly. Turn off the oven and leave the cheesecake inside for 1 hour.

  6. 10

    Cool and Refrigerate

Remove the cheesecake from the oven and let it cool at room temperature for 1 hour. Then, refrigerate for at least 4 hours (preferably overnight) before serving.
