Bread Pudding Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Bread
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Cut the stale bread into bite-sized cubes and place them in a large mixing bowl.
- 2
Mix the Wet Ingredients
In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, heavy cream, eggs, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt until well combined.
- 3
Combine Ingredients
Pour the wet mixture over the bread cubes. Gently fold in the diced peaches, ensuring that all the bread is coated with the liquid.
- 4
Bake the Pudding
Transfer the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- 5
Cool the Pudding
Remove the bread pudding from the oven and let it cool for about 10 minutes before serving.
Serving
- 6
Serve with Ice Cream
Scoop the warm peach bread pudding onto individual plates and top each serving with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Enjoy!
