Cajun French Fries
Method
Burger Preparation
Prepare the Burger Patties
In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Form into two equal patties.
Cook the Bacon
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Cook the Burger Patties
In the same skillet, cook the beef patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked to your desired doneness.
Melt Cheese
In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and cover the skillet to melt the cheese.
French Toast Preparation
Dip the Bread
Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, coating both sides well.
Cook the French Toast
In a clean skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Cook the dipped bread slices for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Assemble the Burger
Layer the Ingredients
On a slice of French toast, place a burger patty with melted cheese, followed by crispy bacon. Top with another slice of French toast.
Cajun French Fries Preparation
Prepare the Potatoes
Cut the potatoes into thin strips to form fries. Soak them in water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.
Season and Bake
Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Drain and dry the fries, toss with olive oil, Cajun seasoning, and salt. Spread in a single layer on a baking sheet.
Bake the Fries
Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and golden brown.
