Turkey Preparation

Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).

Rub the whole turkey with olive oil, ensuring it is well coated.

Season the turkey inside and out with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and dried thyme.

Place the turkey in a roasting pan and cover it loosely with aluminum foil.

Roast the turkey in the preheated oven for about 13-15 minutes per pound, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

Remove the turkey from the oven and let it rest for at least 30 minutes before pulling the meat apart.
Coleslaw Preparation

In a large bowl, combine the shredded cabbage and shredded carrots.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper.

Pour the dressing over the cabbage and carrots, mixing well until the vegetables are evenly coated.

Cover and refrigerate the coleslaw for at least 1 hour before serving.

Once the turkey has rested and been pulled apart, layer a generous portion of pulled turkey on a serving plate.
