Our signature meatballs are simmered in a classic marinara sauce. Every meatball bar comes standard with sliced provolone, Romano cheese in a Capriotti’s shaker and baked rolls. We request 24 hours notice for all meatball bar orders. For large orders, please call the shop. Feeds 14-16 people.

Meatballs Preparation

Make the Meatball Mixture
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, minced garlic, eggs, salt, and black pepper. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.

Form the Meatballs
Use your hands to form the mixture into meatballs about 1.5 inches in diameter. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake the Meatballs
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Bake the meatballs for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through and browned.

Simmer the Sauce
Add the crushed tomatoes, dried oregano, dried basil, salt, black pepper, and sugar to the saucepan. Bring to a simmer, then reduce the heat and let it cook gently for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Combine Meatballs and Sauce
Once the meatballs are baked, add them to the marinara sauce, gently stirring to coat them. Allow the meatballs to simmer in the sauce for an additional 10 minutes.

Prepare for Serving
Arrange the baked rolls on a platter. Place the meatballs with marinara sauce in a serving dish and top with sliced provolone cheese. Provide grated Romano cheese in a shaker for guests.
