Wagyu Beef

Sandwich Assembly

Method

Wagyu Beef Preparation

  1. 1

    Season the Beef

In a bowl, season the American Wagyu beef with salt and black pepper. Ensure it's evenly coated.

  2. 2

    Cook the Beef

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned Wagyu beef and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until it reaches your desired doneness. Remove from heat and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.

Coleslaw Preparation

  1. 3

    Mix the Coleslaw Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded cabbage and grated carrot.

  2. 4

    Prepare the Dressing

In a separate small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper until smooth.

  3. 5

    Combine and Chill

Pour the dressing over the cabbage and carrot mixture. Toss well to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld.

Sandwich Assembly

  1. 6

    Prepare the Sub Rolls

Slice the sub rolls in half lengthwise without cutting all the way through, creating a pocket for the filling.

  2. 7

    Layer the Ingredients

Begin by placing a slice of provolone cheese on the bottom half of each sub roll. Follow with a generous portion of sliced Wagyu beef, then top with the prepared coleslaw. Drizzle Russian dressing over the top and close the sandwich.

  3. 8

    Serve

Serve the American Wagyu Slaw Be Jo® sandwiches immediately, or wrap them in parchment paper for a portable meal.
