Method

Preparing the Greek Tilapia

  1. 1

    Marinate the Tilapia

In a medium bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, dried oregano, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper. Add the tilapia fillets to the bowl and coat them evenly. Allow them to marinate for at least 15 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cook the Tilapia

In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Once melted, add the marinated tilapia fillets. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until the fish flakes easily with a fork. Remove from heat and keep warm.

Preparing the Shrimp Skewers

  1. 3

    Marinate the Shrimp

In a bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Add the shrimp to the bowl and toss to coat. Let them marinate for about 10 minutes.

  2. 4

    Skewer the Shrimp

Thread the marinated shrimp onto the skewers. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.

  3. 5

    Grill the Shrimp

Place the shrimp skewers on the grill and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque. Remove from the grill.

Serving the Dish

  1. 6

    Plate the Dish

On a serving platter, place the cooked tilapia fillets and arrange the shrimp skewers beside them.

  2. 7

    Garnish

Sprinkle chopped parsley over the tilapia and serve with lemon wedges on the side for an extra burst of flavor.
