Pita Chips

Method

Pita Chips Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. 2

    Prepare Pita Bread

Cut each pita bread in half to create two rounds, then cut each round into triangles.

  3. 3

    Season the Chips

In a large bowl, toss the pita triangles with olive oil, salt, and garlic powder until evenly coated.

  4. 4

    Bake the Chips

Spread the pita triangles in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through.

Toppings Assembly

  1. 5

    Prepare the Toppings

While the pita chips are baking, chop the cherry tomatoes in half and roughly chop the Kalamata olives. Crumble the feta cheese.

  2. 6

    Assemble the Nachos

Once the pita chips are ready, remove them from the oven and layer them on a large serving platter.

  3. 7

    Add Toppings

Sprinkle the crumbled feta cheese, chopped olives, and halved cherry tomatoes evenly over the pita chips.

  4. 8

    Finish with Garnish

Drizzle the assembled nachos with a bit of olive oil and sprinkle fresh parsley and black pepper over the top.
