Method

Burger Patty

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef Mixture

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well integrated.

  2. 2

    Form the Patties

Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each portion into a round patty about 1 inch thick.

  3. 3

    Cook the Patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness. If using cheese, place a slice on each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.

Burger Assembly

  1. 4

    Prepare the Buns

While the patties are cooking, slice the burger buns in half and toast them lightly on the grill or in a toaster.

  2. 5

    Assemble the Burger

On the bottom half of each bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by the cooked beef patty, a slice of tomato, pickles, and any desired condiments (ketchup, mustard). Top with the other half of the bun.

Chips

  1. 6

    Prepare the Potatoes

Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F). Wash and cut the potatoes into thin wedges.

  2. 7

    Season and Bake

In a bowl, toss the potato wedges with olive oil and salt. Spread them out on a baking sheet in a single layer. Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.

Salad

  1. 8

    Prepare the Salad Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine mixed salad greens, halved cherry tomatoes, and sliced cucumber.

  2. 9

    Dress the Salad

Drizzle olive oil and balsamic vinegar over the salad. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Toss gently to combine.
