Cooking Directions
- 1
Prepare the Meat
Trim any excess fat from the picanha, leaving a thin layer for flavor. Cut the meat into thick steaks, about 1.5 inches each, if desired.
- 2
Season the Steaks
In a small bowl, mix sea salt and crushed garlic cloves to create a paste. Rub this mixture generously over both sides of the picanha steaks. Let the steaks sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes to allow the seasoning to penetrate.
- 3
Preheat the Grill
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. If you are using charcoal, ensure the coals are hot and glowing.
- 4
- 5
Rest and Serve
Remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with your favorite sides.
