Method

Prepare Pasta

  1. 1

    Cook the Pasta

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Prepare Vegetables

  1. 2

    Chop the Vegetables

While the pasta is cooking, wash and chop the bell peppers, zucchini, carrots, cherry tomatoes, and broccoli into bite-sized pieces.

  2. 3

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Add the chopped vegetables and sauté for 5-7 minutes until they are tender but still crisp.

Combine and Serve

  1. 4

    Mix with Pasta

Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the sautéed vegetables. Pour in the remaining olive oil, and season with salt and black pepper. Toss everything together until well combined.

  2. 5

    Add Finishing Touches

Remove from heat and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and chopped fresh basil. Mix until the cheese melts slightly and everything is evenly coated.

  3. 6

    Serve Hot

Serve the Pasta Primavera hot, garnished with extra Parmesan cheese and basil if desired.
