Method
Preparation
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) to ensure it is hot enough for crispy wings.
Prepare the Chicken Wings
Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. This will help them become crispy when baked.
Season the Wings
In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and baking powder. Toss until the wings are evenly coated with the seasoning.
Cooking
Arrange on Baking Sheet
Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper for easy cleanup. Place a wire rack on top of the baking sheet and arrange the seasoned chicken wings in a single layer on the rack.
Bake the Wings
Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.
Saucing
Toss in Sauce
Once the wings are done baking, remove them from the oven. In a large bowl, toss the hot wings with your choice of sauce (Buffalo, BBQ, or Honey garlic) until evenly coated.
Serve
Serve the wings immediately while hot, with optional sides such as celery sticks and blue cheese dressing.
