Mix Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream, whole milk, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Stir well until the sugar is completely dissolved.

Chill Mixture
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate the mixture for at least 2 hours, or until it is thoroughly chilled.

Churn Ice Cream
Pour the chilled mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.

Freeze Ice Cream
Transfer the churned ice cream to an airtight container and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.
Chocolate Sauce Preparation

Heat Cream
In a small saucepan over medium heat, heat the heavy cream until it begins to simmer, stirring occasionally.

Melt Chocolate
Remove the saucepan from heat and add the semi-sweet chocolate chips, stirring until completely melted and smooth.

Stir in the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt. Mix until well combined.
