Cook the Fettuccine
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Prepare and Grill the Chicken
While the pasta is cooking, season the chicken breasts with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Heat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Remove from heat and let rest before slicing.

Make the Alfredo Sauce
In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning. Stir to combine.

Combine Pasta, Chicken, and Sauce
Add the cooked fettuccine pasta to the Alfredo sauce, tossing to coat evenly. Slice the grilled chicken and place on top of the pasta. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
