Chili Cheese Fries Ingredients

Method

Chili Cheese Fries Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the French Fries

Preheat the oven according to the package instructions for the frozen French fries. Spread the fries on a baking sheet and bake until golden and crispy, usually about 25-30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cook the Chili

In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat. Add the chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper; stir to combine.

  3. 3

    Add Beans and Tomatoes

Stir in the canned kidney beans and diced tomatoes. Allow the mixture to simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Fries

Once the fries are done baking, remove them from the oven. On a serving platter, layer the fries and top with the chili mixture.

  5. 5

    Add Cheese and Queso

Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese generously over the chili-topped fries. Drizzle white queso dip over the top.

  6. 6

    Garnish and Serve

Finish by sprinkling chopped green onions on top. Serve immediately while hot.
