Preparation of the Salmon

1

Marinate the Salmon

In a bowl, whisk together teriyaki glaze, olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Add salmon fillets and marinate for at least 30 minutes.

2

Cook the Salmon

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium heat. Cook the salmon for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and flaky.

Carrot-Ginger Slaw

3

Mix the Slaw

In a large bowl, combine julienned carrots, shredded cabbage, grated ginger, rice vinegar, honey, salt, and black pepper. Toss well and set aside.

Basil Aioli

4

Prepare the Aioli

In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, chopped basil, lemon juice, and minced garlic. Mix until smooth and set aside.

Oat Buns

5

Make the Dough

In a bowl, mix oat flour, yeast, honey, warm water, and salt. Knead until smooth, then let rise for about 1 hour.

6

Shape and Bake

Shape the dough into buns and place them on a baking sheet. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.

Assembly

7

Assemble the Dish

Slice the oat buns in half, layer with salmon, carrot-ginger slaw, and drizzle with basil aioli before serving.
