Preparation Steps

  1. 1

    Prepare the Potatoes

Peel and chop the potatoes into even-sized pieces. Place them in a large pot and cover with water.

  2. 2

    Cook the Potatoes

Bring the water to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat to medium and simmer for about 15-20 minutes, or until the potatoes are fork-tender.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Garlic

While the potatoes are cooking, peel and mince the garlic cloves.

  4. 4

    Drain and Mash

Once the potatoes are cooked, drain them and return to the pot. Add the minced garlic, butter, goat cheese, and milk.

  5. 5

    Mix and Season

Mash the potatoes until creamy and smooth. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Stir in fresh chives.

  6. 6

    Serve

Transfer the goat cheese mash to a serving bowl and garnish with additional chives if desired. Serve warm.
