1. Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

2. Prepare the Brussels Sprouts

Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and remove any yellow or damaged outer leaves. Cut them in half lengthwise.

3. Toss with Seasonings

In a large bowl, toss the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder until well coated.

4. Arrange on Baking Sheet

Spread the Brussels sprouts out in a single layer on a baking sheet, cut side down for maximum crispiness.

5. Roasting

Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, shaking the pan halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.

6. Add Cheese (Optional)

If using Parmesan, sprinkle it over the Brussels sprouts during the last 5 minutes of roasting.

7. Drizzle with Balsamic (Optional)

Once out of the oven, drizzle with balsamic vinegar if desired.

8. Serve
