
Nola Style Bbq Shrimp Recipe
Fresh Gulf shrimp sautéed with butter, worcestershire and Creole spices. Garnished with Cajun rice and served with french bread. A NOLA classic and not Shrimp on the Barbie!

Prepare the Shrimp
In a large skillet, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.

Add Seasonings
Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, Creole seasoning, black pepper, and lemon juice. Mix well until combined.

Cook the Shrimp
Add the fresh Gulf shrimp to the skillet. Cook for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.

Prepare for Serving
While the shrimp cooks, prepare the Cajun rice according to package instructions. Slice the French bread.

Serve
Serve the BBQ shrimp hot over a bed of Cajun rice, garnished with additional Creole seasoning if desired, and with slices of French bread on the side.
