Directions
- 1
Prepare the Ingredients
Slice the seeded loaf in half horizontally and hollow out some of the bread from the insides to create space for the fillings.
- 2
Assemble the Muffuletta
Spread the green olive spread evenly on the insides of both halves of the loaf. Layer the hot salami, sliced ham, and provolone cheese on the bottom half.
- 3
Seasoning
Drizzle olive oil over the fillings and sprinkle Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper to taste.
- 4
Close and Heat
Place the top half of the loaf back on and wrap the entire sandwich in aluminum foil. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake the wrapped sandwich for 15-20 minutes, or until heated through and the cheese is melted.
- 5
Serve
Remove from oven, unwrap, slice into wedges, and serve hot.
