Cook the Pasta
In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the linguini according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Sauté the Vegetables
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion, bell pepper, and celery. Sauté until the vegetables are tender, about 5-7 minutes.

Add Garlic
Stir in the minced garlic and sauté for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Prepare the Sauce
Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine. Bring the mixture to a simmer and add the grated Parmesan cheese. Continue stirring until the cheese melts and the sauce thickens slightly.

Cook the Protein
Add your choice of shrimp, chicken, or crawfish to the skillet. Cook until the protein is cooked through, about 5-7 minutes for shrimp and chicken (crawfish will be heated through).

Serve hot, garnishing with additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
