Crawfish Mona Recipe
Rotini noodles and crawfish in a rich, spicy butter & cream sauce and topped with parmesan cheese. Substitute shrimp or chicken.

Cook the Rotini
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the rotini noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Prepare the Sauce
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Add Crawfish
Stir in the crawfish tails and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, until heated through.

Combine Cream and Seasonings
Pour in the heavy cream, then sprinkle in the Cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to combine and let simmer for 5-7 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

Combine Pasta and Sauce
Add the cooked rotini noodles to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat everything through.

Remove from heat and top with grated Parmesan cheese and sliced green onions. Serve immediately.
