Prepare the Crawfish
Rinse the crawfish under cold water to remove any dirt or debris. Set aside.

Boil the Water
In a large pot, add 4 quarts of water, 0.5 cups of salt, 3 tablespoons of Cajun seasoning, 2 bay leaves, the juice of 1 lemon, and the whole lemon (cut into halves). Bring to a rolling boil.

Cook the Crawfish
Once the water is boiling, add the rinsed crawfish to the pot. Cover and cook for about 5-7 minutes or until the crawfish turn bright red.

Prepare Garlic Butter
While the crawfish are cooking, melt some butter in a separate pan. Add 4 minced garlic cloves and sauté until fragrant.

Serve
Drain the crawfish and place them in a large bucket or serving dish. Drizzle the lemon garlic butter over the crawfish and toss gently to coat. Serve hot.
