Baseball Cut Sirloin

Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Steak

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Brush the baseball cut sirloin steak with olive oil and season it with salt and black pepper on both sides.

  2. 2

    Grill the Steak

Place the seasoned steak on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until your desired doneness is reached. Remove from the grill and let it rest.

  3. 3

    Make the Creole Compound Butter

In a bowl, mix the unsalted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, paprika, and cayenne pepper until well combined. Set aside.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Green Beans

In a skillet over medium heat, add a splash of olive oil and sauté the green beans until they are bright green and slightly charred, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  5. 5

    Bake the Potato

While the steak is resting, bake the potato in the oven at 400°F for about 45-60 minutes, or until tender. You can wrap it in foil for faster cooking.

  6. 6

    Serve

Top the rested steak with a generous dollop of the Creole compound butter. Serve alongside the blackened green beans and baked potato.
