Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Fillet

Take the Certified Angus Beef fillet out of the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cooking.

  2. 2

    Season the Fillet

Rub the fillet with olive oil and season it generously with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. If using, place the rosemary sprig on top.

  3. 3

    Preheat the Pan

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Allow it to get hot, about 3-5 minutes.

  4. 4

    Cook the Fillet

Place the fillet in the hot skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side until a nice crust forms. Flip the fillet and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes for medium-rare, or longer to reach your desired doneness.

  5. 5

    Rest the Fillet

Once cooked to your liking, remove the fillet from the pan and let it rest on a cutting board for 5 minutes before slicing.
