Premium Sides

  1. 1

    Cook the Cavatappi Noodles

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the cavatappi noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Make the Cheese Sauce

In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Once melted, whisk in the flour and cook for about 1 minute until bubbly and lightly golden.

  3. 3

    Add Milk

Slowly whisk in the milk to the butter-flour mixture, stirring continuously to prevent lumps. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until the sauce thickens.

  4. 4

    Incorporate Cheeses

Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and grated Parmesan cheese until fully melted and smooth. Season the cheese sauce with salt and black pepper.

  5. 5

    Combine Noodles and Sauce

Add the cooked cavatappi noodles to the cheese sauce, stirring to coat the noodles evenly with the sauce.

  6. 6

    Prepare for Baking

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Transfer the mac and cheese mixture to a baking dish.

  7. 7

    Top with Breadcrumbs

Sprinkle the toasted breadcrumbs evenly over the top of the mac and cheese.

  8. 8

    Bake

Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes, or until the top is golden and crispy.

  9. 9

    Serve

Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your delicious mac and cheese!
