Brownie Preparation
- 1
Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a mini muffin pan.
- 2
Melt Butter
In a medium saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Once melted, remove from heat.
- 3
Mix Sugars
Add the granulated sugar and brown sugar to the melted butter, stirring until well combined.
- 4
Add Eggs and Vanilla
Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- 5
Combine Dry Ingredients
In a separate bowl, sift together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
- 6
Mix Wet and Dry Ingredients
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Fold in the Heath Bar Crunch® bits.
- 7
Bake Brownies
Spoon the brownie batter into the prepared mini muffin pan, filling each cup about 2/3 full. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- 8
Cool Brownies
Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Caramel Sauce Preparation
- 9
Cook Sugar
In a medium saucepan, heat the granulated sugar over medium heat, stirring constantly until it melts and turns amber in color.
- 10
Add Butter
Once the sugar has melted, carefully add the unsalted butter and stir until melted and combined.
- 11
Add Cream
Slowly pour in the heavy cream while stirring. Be cautious as it may bubble up. Stir until smooth.
- 12
Finish Sauce
Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
