PREMIUM SIDES

Method

PREMIUM SIDES

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Rinse the fresh green beans under cold water to remove any dirt or debris. Trim the ends of the green beans to make them uniform in length. Wash the red bell pepper, remove the seeds, and chop it into small, bite-sized pieces.

  2. 2

    Cook the Green Beans

In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add the prepared green beans and blanch them for about 3-4 minutes until they are bright green and slightly tender. Immediately transfer them to a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process. Drain and set aside.

  3. 3

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped red bell pepper to the skillet and sauté for about 2-3 minutes until it becomes slightly soft.

  4. 4

    Combine and Season

Add the blanched green beans to the skillet with the sautéed red bell pepper. Sprinkle in the garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss everything together to coat the green beans and bell peppers evenly with the seasonings.

  5. 5

    Finish with Lemon Juice

Drizzle the lemon juice over the green beans and red bell pepper mixture. Stir well to combine, allowing the flavors to meld. Cook for an additional 2 minutes, then remove from heat.

  6. 6

    Serve

Transfer the green beans and red bell pepper to a serving dish. Serve warm as a premium side dish to complement your main course.
