Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Ingredients
Gather all the ingredients for the omelette. If using vegetables or meats for fillings, chop them into small pieces for even distribution.
- 2
Beat the Eggs
In a medium bowl, crack the 3 eggs. Add 1 tsp of salt and 0.5 tsp of black pepper. Whisk until the mixture is well combined and slightly frothy.
Cooking
- 3
Heat the Pan
Place a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add 1 tbsp of butter or oil. Allow it to melt and coat the bottom of the pan.

- 5
Cook the Omelette
Let the eggs cook undisturbed for about 1-2 minutes, or until the edges start to set. Use a spatula to gently lift the edges, allowing uncooked egg to flow to the edges.
- 6
Add Fillings
When the top of the omelette is still slightly runny but mostly set, sprinkle your choice of fillings (cheese, vegetables, meats) over half of the omelette.
- 7
Fold the Omelette
Using the spatula, carefully fold the omelette in half to cover the fillings. Let it cook for another minute until the cheese is melted and the inside is cooked to your liking.
- 8
Serve
Slide the omelette onto a plate and serve immediately. Enjoy your delicious omelette!
