Method

Steak Preparation

  1. 1

    Season the Steak

Rub the ribeye steak with olive oil, Cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Ensure the steak is evenly coated.

  2. 2

    Cook the Steak

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the seasoned steak and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness is reached. Remove from skillet and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Noodle Preparation

  1. 3

    Cook the Noodles

In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the spaghetti or linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. 4

    Prepare the Garlic Butter Sauce

In the same skillet used for the steak, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

  3. 5

    Combine Noodles and Sauce

Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Add the cooked noodles to the skillet, tossing to coat in the garlic butter sauce. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes until well combined.

  4. 6

    Finish the Dish

Slice the rested steak against the grain and serve it over the garlic noodles. Garnish with chopped parsley and additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
