Method

Preparing the Salad

  1. 1

    Wash and Chop Lettuce

Rinse the Romaine lettuce under cold water to remove any dirt or grit. Shake off excess water, then chop it into bite-sized pieces and place it in a large salad bowl.

  2. 2

    Prepare Parmesan

Grate the Parmesan cheese using a grater or a food processor, then sprinkle it over the chopped lettuce.

  3. 3

    Add Croutons

Add the croutons on top of the lettuce and cheese in the salad bowl.

Making the Caesar Dressing

  1. 4

    Combine Dressing Ingredients

In a medium bowl, combine the mayonnaise, lemon juice, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, salt, and black pepper.

  2. 5

    Mix in Olive Oil

Gradually whisk in the olive oil until the dressing is smooth and well combined.

Assembling the Salad

  1. 6

    Dress the Salad

Pour the Caesar dressing over the lettuce, cheese, and croutons in the salad bowl.

  2. 7

    Toss the Salad

Gently toss the salad until all ingredients are well coated with the dressing.

  3. 8

    Serve

Serve immediately in individual bowls or plates, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
