Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Steak

Cut the steak into bite-sized cubes. Season with salt, black pepper, and 1 tablespoon of Cajun seasoning. Allow to marinate for at least 15 minutes.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Vegetables

Dice the green bell pepper and carrots. Slice the green onions and measure out the peas. Set aside.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Cook the Steak

In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the marinated steak cubes and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

  2. 4

    Stir-Fry the Vegetables

In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil. Add the diced green bell pepper, carrots, and peas. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until tender.

  3. 5

    Combine Ingredients

Add the cooked jasmine rice to the skillet, mixing well with the vegetables. Pour in the soy sauce, sesame oil, and remaining Cajun seasoning. Stir to combine thoroughly.

  4. 6

    Add Steak

Return the cooked steak to the skillet and mix until evenly distributed. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through.

Serving

  1. 7

    Serve

Spoon the Cajun steak fried rice onto plates. Top with sliced green onions and a fried egg if desired. Drizzle with sriracha sauce to taste.
