Method

Lobster Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Lobster Tails

Start by thawing the lobster tails if they are frozen. Use kitchen shears to cut the top shell of the lobster tails down the center, exposing the meat. Gently pull the meat out and lay it on top of the shell.

  2. 2

    Boil Lobster Tails

In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water and 1 tsp of salt to a boil. Once boiling, add the lobster tails and cover the pot. Boil for about 8-10 minutes, or until the meat is opaque and cooked through. Remove from the water and let them cool slightly.

Butter Sauce

  1. 3

    Make the Butter Sauce

In a saucepan over medium heat, melt 1 cup of unsalted butter. Add 2 cloves of minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. Stir in 2 tbs of lemon juice, 2 tbs of chopped fresh parsley, 1 tsp of paprika, and 1 tsp of black pepper. Mix well and remove from heat.

  2. 4

    Combine Lobster with Sauce

Once the lobster tails are slightly cooled, pour the butter sauce over the lobster meat, ensuring it is well coated.

Serving

  1. 5

    Plate and Garnish

Place the lobster tails on a serving platter. Garnish with lemon wedges and fresh parsley sprigs if desired. Serve immediately while hot.
